Each of these batch files will run from start to finish with a complete WinFE ISO build. I’ve included all the submitted batch files, each is a little different, so your preference will be different from someone else. WordPress doesn’t allow for uploading batch files, therefore, you are going to have to download from the Box.net box to the right of this post. You’ll probably need Java turned on to see the Box.net widget box.
- Brett’s Batch File (CreateWinFE, CreateFolders)
- Mauritz Botha’s Batch Files (CreateWinFE)
- Björn Ganster’s Batch File (clean, CreateFolders, CreateWinFE, & WAIK Version of CreateWinFE)
- Troy Larson’s Batch File
Keep in mind that you can run a simple batch file to create your WinFE ISO and burn to a CD. You can also be more creative in the applications you choose to you, whether or not you want to customize your WinFE with a personalized desktop background, among other options. The process has been made simple as possible, but be prepared to try several times before you build your ‘perfect boot CD’.
But also keep in mind…it is well worth the effort.
Batch files no more available…
the link produces a 404 error…
Thanks, fixed.
I just found these Batch Files, I will see if there is anything else here that I might need or that might help.
Batch files inaccessible.
Seems to be working now.
Brett,
Your batch files are not accessible. Some appear to work, while others do not. I have had no luck with your files. Thanks
They are in the Box.net window to the right of the page. Hope that works. WordPress is nice because of the price, but files keep disappearing once they have been uploaded. Cant complain…its free
